Announcement on adjustment of export tax rebate policy
Announcement No. 15 of 2024 of the General Administration of Taxation of the Ministry of Finance
The relevant matters concerning the adjustment of the export tax rebate policy of aluminum and other products are announced as follows:
First, cancel the export tax rebate of aluminum, copper and chemically modified animal, plant or microbial oil, grease and other products. See Annex 1 for the detailed product list.
Second, the export rebate rate of some refined oil products, photovoltaic, batteries, and some non-metallic mineral products will be reduced from 13% to 9%. See Annex 2 for the detailed product list.
This Announcement shall take effect as of December 1, 2024. The export tax rebate rates applicable to the products listed in this announcement are defined by the date of export indicated in the export goods declaration.
It is hereby announced.

China to adjust or cancel export tax rebates for various products
China announced on Friday that it will change export tax rebates for a range of products, effective from Dec. 1.
The announcement, jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Taxation Administration, said that export tax rebates for aluminum, copper and chemically modified animal, plant or microbial oils and fats will be cancelled.
Meanwhile, the export tax rebate rate for some refined oil products, photovoltaic products, batteries and certain non-metallic mineral products will be reduced from 13 percent to 9 percent.
